Because it is the closest entity on this earth in resemblance of what the Bible describes in the New Testament as being a congregation of believers and the very body and representative of Christ to mankind.

Fine, saintly people! And, absolute hypocrites and ungodly individuals looking to make things right with their Creator and God! And, a whole bunch of us that are in between these two extremes. There is a wide range of ages represented in our congregation. From kids and teens full of excitement, to young married couples (or those who want to be) to older, seasoned adults who have been down the road a mile or two. All are represented and welcome. Wealthy or dirt poor, educated or dumb as dirt, it doesn’t matter! If you want a place where you can worship in the Truth of God’s Holy Word, this just might be the place for you!!

We believe that the King James 1611 Authorized Edition of the Bible is God’s perfectly preserved Word for the World. We won’t kick you out or prevent you from attending if that is not your belief, but we have determined that only the KJV 1611 Bible will be used in all of our preaching, teaching, and music and we will let the Holy Spirit of God reveal that Truth to those who attend our services.

We are traditional, Independent Baptist with our music and while we are not stuck in the 15 & 1600’s with our music, we also do not embrace the modern, contemporary heavy beat and rhythm styles of praise and worship. We believe there are many of old, traditional Hymns, which are of more importance and relevance now than ever before. But, we also believe that there are many good praise and worship songs still being written today, which can be sung in honor and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. We welcome those who will come and join their talents, skills and abilities in voice and instruments to those already here and we welcome those who just want to come, listen and enjoy as we lift up praise to the King of Kings and the God of all Gods.

We have multiple classes and activities for children of all ages. There is a great Nursery provided for babies and toddlers during each of our services which is staffed by trained volunteers in order to provide the highest quality of care for little ones, while allowing their parents and guardians time to worship with other like-minded adults. Additionally, we have Junior High and Senior High classes which each have different activities from time to time to facilitate the fellowship and friendship of others within their respective age groups.

We believe that the Lord loves us exactly the way we are! But we also believe that He doesn’t want to leave us in that condition. Our dress reflects who we are going to see. If we are going to visit the Governor or the President, we dress appropriately. The Bible teaches modesty and morality and we expect people to dress and live in such a way as to not appeal to sensual desires or carnal attitudes, but instead to dress and act as if you were coming into the presence of the Almighty God, because that is exactly what you are doing when you come into this House of Worship. We should not “dress down” to come into the presence of God but “dress up”.
